· Innovative one piece utility knife from Chris Reeve Knives
From Chris Reeve:
"Motorsport has been a passion in my life for as long as I can remember - I have ridden a motorcycle of one kind or another since I was 15 years old and spent 4 years competing on the South African circuit riding Yamaha 125cc and 250cc grand prix style road racing motorcycles. I have owned road bikes, trials bikes, dirt bikes and loved every moment of riding any one of them. It is not just the competition or the speed of motorcycles and race cars that inspires me, but the technology and the continual thrust for improved performance.
Shortly after I had stopped racing, my co-workers at the Lithotone nicknamed me Nkonka, a name I am proud to share with a knife that has been several years in the planning, and represents a pinnacle in terms of competition and performance. It is a design of which I am proud - innovative, progressive and competitive. Like every other knife from Chris Reeve Knives, it is a combination of hi-tech materials, exact execution and old fashioned elbow grease. The Nkonka bears evidence of some of the details I have learned in the 27 years that I have been designing and making knives, and reflects influences from just a few of the many creative people in the industry"
